- Confession of Faith CONFESSION OF FAITH WCF 14.6
Saving faith is different in degrees, weak or strong; may be often and in many ways assailed and weakened, but gets the victory; growing up in many to the attainment of a full assurance through Christ, who is both the author and finisher of our faith.
And the Lord said, "Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren." (Lu 22:31-32)
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? (1 Jn 5:4-5)
Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Above all, take the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. (Eph 6:13, 16)
And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. (He 6:11-12)
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. (Heb 10:22a; 12:2a)

Psalm 117C
Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! O all you people, every nation, shout his praises; for so great, yes, so magnificent has been the loving kindness he has shown to us. And the truth of the Lord is everlasting – give the Lord all praise; and the truth of the Lord is everlasting – give the Lord all praise.

RememberThem

  • "And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled." ~ (Rev 6:9-11)
